What are the Monongahela Rockhounds?

The Monongahela Rockhounds are a mineral, fossil, and lapidary club in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. We are part of the Eastern Federation of Mineralogical and Lapidary Societies (EFMLS) which is part of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS). We have also now signed up for the Future Rockhounds of America program (FRA), created by the AFMS, to provide activities for young rockhounds.
